Struggle to fall a sleep

Fall asleep when you need to naturally, without the anxiety or fear that it will take ages.

The process of going to sleep is a natural one that we’re designed to do however it can be interrupted by trying too hard, which does the opposite of helping you get to sleep. Trying too hard can tap into your fear of what might happen if you aren’t able to fall asleep quickly and get enough sleep. If you struggle to fall asleep often enough, it can set up and perpetuate a continual cycle of anxious energy about falling asleep which keeps you awake for longer. And if your mind is struggling to fall asleep, it’s really hard for your body to follow. 

I’m guessing that you’ve searched the internet and tried all the sleep hygiene suggestions you can find (i.e., cut back on caffeine, have a schedule etc) and still you’re struggling to fall asleep within a reasonable timeframe. And while those suggestions do work for some people, they aren’t the solution for everyone. It rather depends on how long this has been happening for you and if there are any other contributing factors. Some people need a more tailored approach provided by a professional to help them fall asleep faster, and no that doesn’t mean collecting a script or taking supplements forever. It means learning a new way to fall asleep with ease.
